Already have an established Squarespace site? Simply add-on an Install Package to your template order, and our team will install your new template right into your existing Squarespace website.

So, how do installs work?

Maybe you already have a website on Squarespace, and the thought of transferring all of your blog posts, shop items and, well, everything else, to a new template makes you feel all sorts of stressed. Well, our Install service is your answer!

    Choose the install package from below that works for you, then add it to your cart, along with your chosen template/s.

  • 02.

    After you checkout, you’ll get some more info and follow instructions to add us into your existing Squarespace website.

  • 03.

    Once you’ve added us, we’ll get to work ASAP! We’ll install the new template into your existing site within 48 hours of access.

  • 04.

    Then, log into your template resources and use the videos, guides and graphics to customize and launch your new design!

Do I need an install?

An install package is perfect if you

  • Have an existing, established website on Squarespace already AND have lots of content on your website that you don’t want to transfer over to a new template, eg: blog posts, shop inventory, image galleries, strong existing SEO.

You don’t need an install package if you

  • Don’t have any website with Squarespace yet.

  • Already have a website with Squarespace but don’t have lots of content to transfer or are happy to transfer your content yourself.

  • Want to start totally fresh with your new template.

Here’s some things you need to know

  • For us to add a template into your existing website, your website must be the same version as your chosen template (7.0 or 7.1)

  • You’ll still need to customize the new template pages. The Install Package doesn’t include any customizations or design tweaks.

  • We will install your template 48 hours from when you submit the install form—you’ll get access to this after you checkout.

 Frequently asked questions

  • No, you don’t need an install to use one of our premium Squarespace Templates!

    When you purchase just template from us, it will arrive in your Squarespace account as a new website, it won’t be installed into any existing site. Meaning you will have to manually bring over any blog posts, shop items and will lose your customer and analytics data.

    The Install add-on is only here for people that already have an established or live website on Squarespace who don’t want manually transfer those things, or lose that data.

    With an Install, will manually install the template directly into an existing website that you have, so your website and content will still be in the same place. From there, all you need to do is customize it and make it yours!

  • Yes! When you purchase a Template and an Install Package, you will still get access to all of the tutorial videos and assets that come with the Template. You can use these to help customize your site and graphics.

  • Because the template will have different design settings (site styles) than your existing website, we can either replace all of your site styles with the template settings, OR we can leave your site styles as they are—up to you!

    This is something you can tell us in the Install Form after checkout.

  • Nope! We don’t need to log into your account.

    However, we will need access to your website and you can do that by adding us as an administrator. But we will provide all of the information and instructions on how exactly to do this after you purchase the install.

  • We will do our best to not disrupt your website while we bring in your new template.

    The template Pages will be added to the hidden “not-linked pages” area.

    If you have chosen for us to replace your existing Site Styles, this will affect every page of your site, so this will affect your live site.

    If your site is live, you may want to add an Under Construction page while we’re installing the new template, and while you’re customizing your website.

    When you fill out the Install Form after checkout, we will give you instructions on how to add an Under Construction page if you want to, and information on when the best time is to add it.

  • Once we gain access to your site, we will add the template pages into your Not Linked section of your pages panel.

    We won’t edit any existing page structure or content that you have on your website.
